Role Overview:

Do you love editing event footage and crafting compelling stories? At WKMUp, we’re seeking a Freelance Video Editor & Content Creator for a 3-month contract to bring festivals, film premieres, and red-carpet visuals to life, as well as creating engaging content from them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short form video contents (≅90 - 180 seconds) from events, including festivals( e.g AFFRIF, S16, The Annual Film Mischief), film premieres, and red-carpet appearances.
• Create engaging content in both short form (90–180 seconds, with a primary focus on short content) and medium form (200–300 seconds) for our social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok e.t.c.
• Capture behind-the-scenes moments and highlighting key experiences from events.
• Ensure all video and content align with WKMUp’s brand style, tone, and quality standards.
• Manage and organize raw footage, maintaining an efficient workflow and timely delivery of edited content.
• Create content for multiple platforms and formats for audience engagement.
• Stay up to date with content trends, editing techniques, and industry best practices to keep outputs fresh and relevant.
• Support content planning and contribute creative ideas to enhance event coverage.
